I love shabby chic
Last October I moved to the metro D.C. area to a town called Alexandria, Virginia. As the hometown of Robert E. Lee, you can imagine the history that spans from my apartment to the Potomac. What I love about Alexandria the most is its Charleston-esque charm: cobblestone roads, restored 18th century homes, historical placards along the streets, and of course the darling boutiques, cafes, and antique stores. A young single in this obscenely expensive, presidential town has to be creative finding her furnishings, but luckily the Craigslist scene is comparable to the antique stores.
Since I have no space, I've decided to display all the great finds I would like to purchase and put in my non-house. This may occasionally include a house I would like to purchase in my non-neighborhood.
